Customer Service and Administrative assistant

Job Description:

Terra Plants and Flowers is looking to hire two part-time Customer Service and Administrative assistants to join our team. As a Customer Service Representative, you will be the primary point of contact for our valued customers, ensuring their inquiries are promptly addressed and providing exceptional service throughout their interactions with our business.

Responsibilities:

- Answering phone calls and promptly addressing customer inquiries in a professional and friendly manner.

- Providing personalized assistance to customers in selecting the right products for their needs either over the phone or via the website chat feature.

- Create order notes for the florist to ensure the customer needs are met.

- Create product barcodes to facilitate efficient inventory management and sales processes.

- Regularly update the website with new products.

- Resolving customer complaints and issues by actively listening, empathizing, and finding effective solutions to ensure customer satisfaction.

Requirements:

- Previous experience in a customer service role or similar position is preferred.

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with customers and colleagues.

- Proficiency in using computer systems, web-based platforms, and Microsoft Office applications.

- Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.

- Attention to detail and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service.

- A positive and friendly demeanour, with a genuine passion for assisting customers and problem-solving.

- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays, if required.

- Availability to work part-time hours from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, as per an assigned schedule.

- Must work in person at the store.

Compensation:

- Pay commensurate with experience.
